Enable the regional provision of safe, high-quality, cost effective and customer-focused accessible transportation service.
Africa
today lacks sufficient and sustainable health care for growing urban and rural
population. Current statistics of primary health care in uganda
are proof of this situation.
Nonemergency
patient transportation service providers face many challenges. These barriers
can include:•Not having Local or international valid medical driver's license or industry
accreditation • Absence of enabling laws, policy and
regulation to guide and protect stakeholders •Limited or absent visibility of actors at
various level having adequate access to suitable vehicles for service delivery
and diaspora investment. •Limited or absent access to Knowledge,
skills and financial capacity building for Industry practitioners and
entrepreneurs •Limited access to appropriate technology
and equipment for care related mobility.

all ages , NEMTA serves to meet Target 3.8: Achieve universal health
coverage , through inclusive mobility
for all health needs.
In
Line with the overall sustainable Target of Goal 11 to Make cities inclusive,
safe, resilient and sustainable NEMTA
serves to meet the objective through facilitating safe, accessible &
quality medical transportation.
In Line with Goal 5 - Achieve
gender equality and empower all women and girls, NEMTA serves to meet the goal
through providing safe mobility means for women and girl especially during
situations that make them most vulnerable.
